Generator FAQ
Q1 Which generator brands do you install?
We are a factory-authorized dealer for Generac and Briggs & Stratton, so those are our primary lines for both home and commercial standby power. We can also install and service other major brands on request. Either way, we size and spec the unit that best fits your property, fuel supply, and budget.
Q2 Should I run my generator on natural gas or propane?
Both work well. If your home already has a natural gas line, that is usually the simplest option since you never have to refill a tank. If you do not have gas service, propane is a strong alternative. We check your supply and help you decide during the assessment.
Q3 How is the right generator size determined?
We base the size on what you want to keep running during an outage, from a few essentials up to your whole home including the AC. We review your panel, your electrical load, and your priorities, then spec a unit that covers it without paying for more capacity than you need.
Q4 Do you offer financing?
Yes. Financing is available so you can spread the cost of your standby generator over time instead of paying it all upfront. Ask us about current options when you request your quote.
Q5 How long does a generator installation take?
Most residential standby installs are completed in one to two days of on-site work once the unit and permit are ready. Timing can shift based on the gas hookup, the size of the job, and the local permit and inspection schedule. We give you a realistic timeline in your quote.
